I operate mostly via Chrome Remote Desktop on Android devices. Changing the transmit frequency is extremely difficult. (Click on the waterfall at the desired transmit frequency - this changes the receive frequency. Click the up-arrow under the transmit frequency text box - this sets the transmit frequency to the receive frequency. Then double-click the desired receive conversation in the Band Activity textbox - this sets the receive frequency where it belongs).
Years ago, I found the code that I want to edit. I attempted to recompile The Whole Thing again. It was a nightmare. Instructions are online, but I kept getting error messages I couldn't interpret, much less remedy. Also, compiling a version for Linux won't help as Chrome Remote Desktop doesn't work on Linux.
To compound the problem, Chrome Remote Desktop just "upgraded" so I have to drag the cursor around the screen to implement all the "clicks".
Please help!

Can you manually key in the transmit freq on the Android? I often modify the transmit freq via the keyboard in Windows vs Shift-Click. Sometimes I change 1or 2 digits only.

Very troublesome just to type in. I would rather go through the tap-dance of the 3 clicks and dragging the cursor. Also have to look at the waterfall to find a good frequency in the first place. IMO, the easiest fix is to swap the functionality of click and shift-click for the waterfall window. The only problem is compiling after the change. Changing the code is no problem at all. (I used to write code, now retired.) On Sun, Mar 19, 2023 at 5:14 PM Glenn Van Benschoten <gtvanben@...> wrote: Can you manually key in the transmit freq on the Android? I may gat a bluetooth keyboard just to find out. The new rendition of Chrome RD. Makes entering text at all very troublesome.
A good idea.
I'm thinking of trying to recompile the whole thing again.
