Locked WSJT-x interface to Log4OM2 and QSLMSG not populating. #logging

The interface works fine, and when WSJT-x completes a QSO the confirmation window pops up so I can adjust any details and press enter to add to the Log4OM2 database. From there Log4OM uploads to QRZ.com and eQSL.cc for me automatically.

One issue is that I can't see how to populate the QSL MSG field via this interface so it automatically adds a message to add to the QSL card on eQSL.cc. I can manually edit the QSO in Log4OM2 afterwards, but would like to automate this if possible.

The comment field on the WSJT-x QSO popup populates the COMMENTS field only, and not the QSLMSG field. Is there a way to change this?

Thanks

are you trying to "qsl msg" from log window of wsjtx, to log4om. is that
at least saving in log4om?

then are you manually uploading to esl.cc? did you check any of the adi
files to see if that info is even sent??

As far as I can see there is no "QSL MSG" in the window of WSJT-x, just a "Comments" window. This comments window does get populated into the Comments field of the Log4OM database just fine. :)

No upload to eQSL.cc are automated from Log4OM, and agin this works fine.

In the ADI files the QSL MSG is not populated, as there is no QSL MSG text being sent from WSJT-x. I checked in the "wsjtx_log.adi" and can see Comments but no QSLMSG.

Either way not a huge deal for FT8, but was just curious to know if it could be done.

FWIW, JTAlert has an explicit option to log WSJTX comments to the QSL_MSG field during logging. This has been available for as long as WSJTX has been around.

I am only using WSJT-x at the moment, as was trying to keep this as simple as possible. Seems I am losing that battle. ;)

Will take a look at JTAlert is this becomes urgent, right now I think I can do without it for FT8 as it not a very "Personal" QSL anyway.
