JT Alert scans your logbook when you start (or when you do a

"rebuild") and builds a B4 table. It adds QSOs to that B4 table as you work them but *ONLY ON THE MACHINE ON WHICH* *JT Alert IS RUNNING*. You *CAN NOT* use one copy of JT Alert to monitor two instances of WSJTX and/or two computers. That is simply not possible given the current implementation of JT Alert. 73, ... table from your connected log when it starts up in memory. This allows for a faster 'look up' when the call is decoded. When you log a QSO, JT Alert will add to that B4 table, but only on the machine that its running on. There's no shared B4 table between the instances. Does this help?? If it's the same file in dropbox on both machines you don't need to do anything. The file is updated almost immediately from Dropbox and you should see the notification on the "other" machine when you log a QSO.

But...JTAlert will not automatically update from the ADIF file. You would need a real logging program that uses a database that JTAlert can recognize. Mike W9MDB On Thursday, September 29, 2022 at 05:01:27 PM CDT, Dave Tucker Nu4N <dwtucker19@...> wrote:
