The fact of the matter is that I am not so tach savvy with matters Linux related. I am also very keen on WSJT-X work natively on Android for a truly excellent /P experience.

I would have no idea how to start. I cannot even install the OS on the eeePC. I guess I need a Linux head/guru to help me make this happen. I just want to work /P. I have not yet managed to get the Android tablet to 'talk' to the Pi4B outside of the home network. Excuse me for being a bit vague, it is not intentional.
