Locked Max waterfall frequency, and merging log files. #TechnicalHelpQuestion

I switched from a Linux box to Windows 8.1. How do I merge the two logs to one on the new machine without losing any contacts? Which files do I have to combine?
Also, using the new machine with an unfamliar keyboard I managed to set the maximum frequency on the waterfall to 10500! It should be about 2500, of course. The starting freq is on the control menu, but how do I reset the max frequency? Thanks in advance 73, Barry, VE7VIE |

You just need to remove the headers from one file and append it the other in an editor.

These boxes control the freq range of the waterfall, I suspect you have managed to change them

Thank you, but do I need to eliminate duplicates when I merge? Yesterday 15 was open and I worked Rhode Island (WAS #47), Samoa and Lithuania and I want to keep them!

Duplicate are not important for wsjt.

Thanks to everyone. All is in order again. I rely on Gridtracker for my stats and it lost track of most of my states. Reinstalling it found everything. GT must maintain it's own DBs for stats. Reinstalling recreated the DBs I guess.
NJ, DE, SD - anyone out there using FT8? I was originally licensed in NJ and that really gets me! Now I am in CN89. |
