I have been using WSJT-X 2.4 since July 2021 with Tigertronics sound card. This combination has been very successful only using FT8. until a few days ago after I achieved DXCC and Master of Communications for North America.
A few weeks back the program would read very slowly (1 to 3). I found by stopping the app and restarting the PC. I would get back to reading faster (10 to 15 or more). Then yesterday 4/28/2022, it stopped reading any signals on any band. Nothing worked to get it reading again. I have the DigiPan app and it works just fine. As a matter of fact, yesterday, I had my first PSK31 contact on 20 meters with it. So, it is not the soundcard. Today 4/29/2022, I uninstalled and reinstalled the same release. Still no luck. Then I downloaded 2.5.4 and still no luck. I was wondering if anyone else experienced this issue. I have an IBM laptop with Windows 7, 32-bit processor and the specs exceed the requirements for WSJT-X. Rich WA1FKP |
