I think I'd try this. Connect the FTDX101MP and remove both comports 3 and
4. Then disconnect it. Connect the IC 705, leave it connected and then
connect the FTDX101MP to force it to create new ports like 5 and 6 or 7 and
8.
I doubt this is it, but it's worth a try.

FTDX101MP, from Yaesu. The Yaesu drivers set up as Com Ports 3 and 4.
Cannot make the WSJT software see the '101. (N1MM can't see it either).
Now, the WSJT software will only access my IC 9700 via Ports 3 and 4.
Downloaded the driver direct from Silicon Labs. Even tried a "legacy"
driver. Can't get the computer to see the FTDX101. The WSJT software on my
Windows 10 laptop works just fine with the '101. I must be doing something
wrong? Like Help!
