Hi Randy and all,

Very likely the slider weirdness is due to a bug in Qt. Steve, K9AN,
observed the same for our current devel version a couple of days ago after
he had updated to MacOS 12 (Monterey). After some systematic tests he found
out the following:
1. When WSJTX is being built with Qt 5.15.0 the power slider moves in the
right direction, but there is a large offset between the mouse cursor and
the slider position.
2. With Qt 5.12.3 the power slider moves in the wrong direction. This
behavior has been reported by users of WSJT-X version 2.5.4.
3. With Qt 5.15.2 the power slider behaves correctly.

So, in case you are able to build from source, please try it using Qt
5.15.2.

Unfortunately I don't have a Mac computer myself, otherwise I would
provide you with a new installer, but we plan to build future MacOS
versions of WSJTX using Qt 5.15.2 so that this weirdness will hopefully be
fixed.

There have been (I believe) two minor updates to MacOS since this WSJT was released. It is possible that the WSJT-X was fine when released, but slider broken the the next OS update?

I was behind on my WSJT versions, and just moved to 2.5.4

Ideas?

Ver: 2.5.4

MacOS Ver: 12.2.1 (21D62)

I am also seeing wonky behavior. However, in my case, the slider is
reversed. That is, when the slider pointer is at the bottom, the output is
0dB; when the pointer is at the top, the output is -45dB To move the
pointer to the bottom, I must move the cursor to the top and vice versa.
Very strange. This started happening recently without a version change.

Furthermore, after the pointer has been at the bottom for a while, it
appears at the top. The output remains 0dB. If I attempt to adjust the
slider in this state, the pointer flips so that at the bottom output is 0dB.

Using MLDX also

The 'Pwr' slider is acting wonky. Level of power not adjusting with
corresponding Pwr level. Have to use Audio control on my Mac.
Similar to a known issue, since fixed, in past versions.

Not critical, as app still functions. Just a bug report.
