Um ... you installed the wrong OpenSSL package. V3 is new, and the

OpenSSL package creator suggests that the v1.1.1 version be installed as v3 may not be compatible with all programs. May I suggest you install that version, then reSTART Windows 10 (note RESTART, not REBOOT. This clears out all RAM.) I installed wsjtx-2.5.4-win64.exe I installed Win64 OpenSSL v3.0.2 Light I installed Microsoft VC++ 2013 Redistributable vcredist_x64.exe I downloaded lotw.arrl.org/lotw-user-activity.csv and put it in the WSJTX directory I ran WSJT-X, selected Settings, Colors and tried to "Fetch Now" the Users CSV file (https://lotw.arrl.org/lotw-user-activit.csv) I still get the "Network Error - SSL/TLS support not installed, cannot fetch:" error. I have carefully followed all the instructions in Section 3.1 of the WSJT-X User Guide. 1. Is there a way to fix this error? 2. If not, what negative impact does this error have on regular operations or logging in WSJT-X? Thanks! 73 KD6PJE |
