There is an award for all grid squares in the US.
There is the Fred Fish Memorial Award for 6M.
Hi Bill,
I guess I wasn't as clear as I thought...
Yes, in my case, I am trying to work all grid squares in the U.S..
However, it would be user defined, so in could be Australia, or Mongolia or Japan or Britain as defined by the user...
Or, it could be a specific grid square (gs); as user defined... like DM31, or whatever the gs is for Ularu, or Mt. Fuji, or Timbuktu...
It would a tool to tighten a search area, work gs's.
It's a lot easier to pick out a single (let's say a) forest green line, than trying to read & respond to several brown lines from all points on Earth!
No, there aren't any awards, anymore. But the ARRL had a gs contest a few years ago. America is a big place, w/488 gs's; I am down to less than 73 left to work, in very low population areas. I mention DM31... because not a single ham lives there! But... there is a U.S. National Monument, with a constant turnover of visitors, at least some of which have to be hams! The same would apply if the target were say, Machu Pichu, or Mt. Kilimanjaro.
Thanks,

Hi John,
in what way are gridsquares with USA operators special? Are there any awards of significance for working USA only gridsquares? If not then how should other gridsquare and DXCC Entities pairs to be handled? You can already have up to two decode highlighting options per decode, one using foreground colour and another using background, have you considered setting up "New Grid" as a foreground colour, and "New DXCC Entity" as a background colour; that should make it clear that you have a new Country gridsquare to work, and if you give the "New DXCC Entity" the higher priority the country name will be shown after the decode.

I think it would be really helpful to add a 'color'/function into the settings.
