Locked JT65B "Sync Threshold"
Hi Team, The JT65B "Sync Threshold" parameter (from -1 to 10 on the main screen) is not very clear for me. The user guide speaks about it but I don't understand : "The Sync control sets a minimum threshold for establishing time and frequency synchronization with a received signal." Who can help me ? 73s Christian F8GHE |

Think of it like the "SQUELCH" on an FM handheld. -1 setting turns the "SQUELCH" OFF. As you increase the Sync Threshold, stronger signals are required before there is any decoding. GL and VY 73, Lance On 12/10/2020 01:22:08, christian BARTHOD wrote:

Hi Lance,
OK now I understand but is there a recommended default value between -1 and 10 to start or is there a specific method to control (check) the right level of this parameter during the decode processus ? 73 Christian F8GHE |

For EME, we always start with the most sensitive value of -1. GL and VY 73, Lance On 12/11/2020 07:40:11, christian BARTHOD wrote:
