Locked Status File Error in WSJT-X 2.3.0 rc2

It looks like there is no recent updated to this topic. I see the error mesage "Status File error" frequently using WSJTx V2.4.0-rc4 (and before rc3) . This happens more often since I use two instances of WSJTx. - alos after some hours of passive monitoring. (sleep mode and all Windows powersavings are OFF) Every time i observe this error message I have to stop wsjt and restart.that instance of WSJTx I am using a fast multicore CPU, Win64, Omnirig and JT-alert, seldom more than 15% CPU use Regards Charly, DF5VAE PS: the problem with storing a single q65 frequenvy in WSJTx - which apperare as valid for all modes after a reboot- seems to have been solved. |

I made a WSJT-X folder under my TEMP folder:

It can be caused by running the WSJT-X installer as Administrator, that is not necessary as the installer will ask for Administrator rights just for the small part of the installation where it is needed. 73 Bill G4WJS. |
