Locked Flexradio powersdr added as a rig list not working correctly

Hi,
I note with interest that Flexradio Powersdr has been added as a rig in the radio list. I have run a Flex 5000 using TS2000 emulation for a long time and it works well (Thanks Bill for your help some time ago for helping getting this going).

I decided to try using Flexradio powersdr but it doesn't work properly. When testing CAT, that seems to be ok, on testing PTT I rx an error msg, pic1 and test has gone to red. I have also rx'd this error msg, pic2. Back to TS2000 all ok.

Any ideas as to what is amiss please?

does checking "Settings->Radio->Split Operating->None" help?

It is working here with PowerSDR 2.8.0 and latest WSJT-X . No errors

do you have a Flex Radio 5000 too?

Flex 3000.  Should not be that much different from the 5000 unless using the two receivers of the 5000

Hi Bill.

Now the initial inquiries over the new version of wsjt have died down somewhat, I wonder if you have had time to think about why I have this error? I see that K3UK doesn't have this issue using a flex 3000. No idea why that should be.

I have just discovered JS8Call and have found that the same issue is present. I'm not surprised since it's based on wsjt and there is obviously something amiss in hamlib..
