Locked logging to HRD issue

Kyle K7UU

HRD does NOT provide real-time logging to LoTW. Never has. You can auto upload QSOs to a separate HRDLOG.net* account from HRD and configure HRDLOG.net's LoTW integration service, but I have found that to be unreliable.

*HRD and HRDLOG.net are not affiliated

That's not the same as the real-time upload provided by DXKeeper, ACLog, HRD, and other loggers

I guess you could  say that’s using TQSL rather than wsjt-x, but it’s directly uploading the wsjt-x log file without going through any other logging program.

Please let us know how you do that as there is no interface to do so.

Why is it no one wants to send direct to lotw from jt-alert or wsjt-x?

neil_zampella <neilz@...>

Because:

1.   JT-Alert does a lot as it is, and most of the logging programs that it logs to has LoTW support
2.   Its not WSJT-X's function to do that.

Because we keep our master station log in full-featured logging software. LoTW is not your master log, and the other two are not logging software.

Loren

That’s Ham Radio deluxe and as I said in my post that is working well.

The logging question from the original poster is about HRDlog.net which is a separate thing.

Thanks for trying to help though, having 2 logging programs with similar names is confusing.

Charlie,  There are instructions further up in the thread from one of the team members, but I am pasting them again here.

" it's on our YouTube channel here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YLt1zI1avx0&t=1s

Also in our online manual: https://support.hamradiodeluxe.com/support/solutions/articles/51000052684-qso-forwarding"

As far as Kaspersky, I couldn't find where to do anything with website settings, or whitelists or exclusions, but it wasn't the website itself, it was the auto refresh of the current activity and the Last QSO map that was being blocked, being treated as a malicious app or function as I recall.  was just easier to remove Kaspersky completely and go with another security package.

JTAlert Settings window under the "Web Services -> Online Logbooks" section.
Supported logs - QRZ.com, HRDLog.net, HamQTH.net, eQSL.cc & ClubLog.org. They are not new, they have all been available in JTAlert for many years.

Hi name?

In my case, I want my logging SW (ACLog) to control this, not either JYAlert or WSJT-X.

If you're using JTAlert, you can have it automatically upload to multiple online logs, including HRDLog.net.

Can you put the HRDlog website in a white list in Kaspersky?

Update and possible solution on my HRD logging issue.  As a recap, I have been using the interface to HRDLog for years and all of a sudden log records were intermittently not being sent to HRDLog.  After having an issue with a website being blocked this week (HRDLOG.net) by Kaspersky, and not finding a way to allow the website functionality, I uninstalled Kasperski and since then every QSO has been logged to HRDLog.  There was no indication of any blocking messages or any reason why only some QSOs were being forwarded to HRDLog.

So I guess this is just a warning to others having this issue that it may be your security software causing the issue.

Pardon my lack of knowledge here, but what is the interface to HRDlog.net?
I use HRD (Ham Radio Deluxe) via JTAlert and all is well, but also use HRDlog.net as it has a link to my website. I have to update via ADIF file at intervals as I cannot see any interface either in WSJT-X or on the HRDlog webpage.
