locked v2.2.0-rc1 darker green receive marker

Don Hill AA5AU

It seems the color of the green U-shaped receive marker has changed in v2.2.0-rc1 to a darker green. To me, it makes it hard to see. I like the brighter green color of the marker in previous versions. Or am I the only one with a dark green marker?

To me, the darker marker blends in too much with the dark blue background of the waterfall.

My eyes find the newer colour easier .

I can see the darker better at a distance. At closer look the light green jumps up easier. So it depends on your eyesight and that depends on your age, hi!

The new darker colour is much better for me. Is it green, was it green before or just near invisible?

Maybe a different color would be better, since the different eyes see the current green differently. For my eyes the previous green was better.

I have a red green colour deficiency and found the original green more visible. Looking at it closely, however, I suspect the B&W contrast with the new green is actually greater so it's something we should live with.

What ever color, I'd like to see it elevated a couple pixels so that there is slight separation from the waterfall.  My eye easily catches the red goalpost, but whether light or dark green, it still doesn't jump out being immediately adjacent to the waterfall.  Actually it would work better if the receive goalpost was turned upside down.  73 Herb WB8ASI

I agree with Herb on elevating the green gold post a few pixels above the black line to make it stand out even better for those of us with "older" eyes.  The new darker color is much better.

Although somewhat trivial, I AGREE
with both suggestions.
