Hello,
I noticed a strange behavior of WSJT-X on my FT-911A. I'm not sure if is a bug or only a my error.
WSJT-X software is configured, in Radio Page with:
-) Cat operation port (test work ok)
-) PTT Method = CAT.
-) Mode: Data/Pkt
-) Split Operation: Rig
When I select a band in the dropdown menu, WSJT-X software configure Rig with the correct Frequency and Mode for VFO-A only. In VFO-B only the frequency is set, i need to manual set the mode, if is different from DATA-USB.

Hi OM, NO, It Does not. It set correctly the VFO A but not the VFO B. Initially, I did not understand why, when the rig went in transmission, the power and ALC meter was zero. Then I saw that the mode for VFO-A was correctly set to D-USB, but the mode for VFO-B was still set to LSB.
To resolve I copyed VFO-A to VFO-B, then at next transmission, WSJTX reset the frequency and transmit on-air.

Hi OM,
the mode of VFO B should be set just before the first transmission. Are
you saying that it doesn't do that for you?

Are you using HRD rig control ? if so.. don't .. connect WSJT-Z directly to the radio... or use fake it..

The rig is already directly connected to WSJT-X.
Is not a real problem, I need to set the VFO-B to the correct mode before. Then WSJT-X connected to the rig, set time by time the frequency needed.

My Rig is FT-911A. De Settings are:
PTT Method: CAT
Mode: Data/Pkt
Split Operation: Rig
VFO-A mode is correcly changed from previosly set (LSB) but not
the VFO-B set, that did remain LSB.
