Yes will be an issue if one config both bands - there is a selector to the left of active windows - TX# - that will over-ride the serial number. It’s a manual job to remember. If you have two instances of WSJT then should be no problem (that is what I plan to use tonight) - the other option is to switch configs - one for 2m and one for 6m - good chance it will handle separate serial numbers. Getting things ready for the 144MHz and 50MHz RSGB contests (last minute, I know!). These are two simultaneous contests and are using the EU contest mode in WSJT-X. For each contest the serial number has to start from 001 and increment for each QSO on that band.
This is not something I'm easily able to test in advance, but my guess is that if I'm running one instance of WSJT-X and switch bands, it will just keep incrementing the serial number regardless of band. How do I keep two serial numbers running independently at the same time? 73, Malcolm G3ZNU |
