I have an ANAN-8000DLE and presently have WSJT-X and FLDIGI set up to work without rig control and I use one program at a time so I am using the same virtual audio cables pairs for both programs and the same COM ports.

I would like to set up Rig/Cat control for WSJT-X. When I go to Apache Labs web site, I find Digi mode configuration with powerSDR but the instructions are for ANAN-100D not the ANAN-8000DLE but I followed them as best I could.

1. You need to run HPSDR, the 100D won’t do anything without it (there is other SDR software, but HPSDR is the one generally used)
2. Presumably you will use WSJT-X to do the FT8 processing, running on the same computer as HPSDR. WSJT-X works on the audio output from HPSDR so there needs to be a ‘virtual audio cable’ connecting the two bits of software together.
3. The way to connect them together uses the VAC1 output in HPSDR. Most people use Voicemeeter Banana in between HPSDR and WSJT-X to simulate the audio devices both ways.
4. You will also need a virtual COM programme to simulate the serial interface. I use one called VSPE. In WSJT-X, set the rig type to TS2000 and it should all work.

#2     Using same computer for WSJT-X and HPSDR and virtual audio cables 1 and 2 tie both together.

#3     This is where I get lost, I downloaded Voicemeeter Banana and immediately lost all sound. There was no instruction on how to set it up so I deleted it and my sound started to work again.

#4     I have Eltima software. I’m using COM port 10 and 11 to tie WSJT-X and HPSDR together. I then went to WSJT set the rig to TS-2000 and got an error message.

Could I get step by step instruction for my ANAN-8000DLE as to how to set WSJT-X up for Rig/Cat control. I have tried numerus you tube videos but none seem to address the problem I am having.
