Locked Boring shift
Hello...
In "Band activity" and "Rx frequency, we must shift the text left to read the end of the lines, which is generally the most interesting data. Would it be possible to suppress the automatic return to the default position on every T/R sequence ? this would avoid a number of mouse clicks... Best 73 to all F8RZ Jean |

Jean, you can adjust the size of the panes and the overall window. Mine is adjusted so I can see everything without scrolling.

This of course requires a normal size screen. My first computer that I used for wsjt had a small screen that didn't have enough room to see everything. Jim Bacher, WB8VSU wb8vsu@... https://trc.guru

Guys! One very good solution to not having enough screen size: add another monitor! Buy a USB to VGA adapter, and a used computer monitor( or new, depending on your wallet ), and put some programs on one monitor, and the other on the other one. Or you can go hog-wild and add 2 monitors( maybe even more! ). I have N1MM( or N3FJP and JTAlertX ) running on one monitor and WSJTX on the other. Very nice! 73, David AD4TJ

You can also specify a small font for these panes to squeeze more in (if you can read the smaller font).

Thanks, Dave but guess I wasn't clear. I was thinking JS8CALL. Print is just too small. Thanks again and 73, de Phil, n6qca

Good advice, just don't create an ergonomic nightmare for yourself. The top of the monitors should be about eye level and no closer than arm's length. I see a lot of shack photos that are recipes for eye/neck strain.

I agree with David. Having multiple monitors is much simpler than it used to be. You don't need a new video card; USB to HDMI/VGA video adapters using the DisplayLink driver can be had for under $40 on Amazon or Ebay. Maybe not good for gaming, but fine for ham radio use. And large monitors are relatively cheap these days. I run WSJT-X in an old 4:3 1280x1024 display, and use the big 27 inch wide screen for everything else. From: David AD4TJ

I use 2 - 19 inch monitors connected to the port replicator of a Dell laptop, works wonderfully for me!

Totally agree except get a big 50" 4k monitor. Had a $700 34" inch Dell widescreen and then added two Samsung 50" 4k @ $400 each, best addition to ham shack in years. 73 Roger N3RC On Tue, Jan 28, 2020 at 1:01 AM Joe Roper <n7ihb@...> wrote:

Totally agree When I started in ham radio I thought a computer was overkill. Now my radio computer has 2 monitors and sometimes I wish I had 3.
