I guess everyone has their prejudices... suit yourself, but then why ask others to duplicate what you refuse to use? > > Actually the decode does NOT show > the whole message. I don't know what version of WSJT-X you are using, but mine clearly shows all directional and special calls in the decode ... today happens to be the Rtty roundUp so a lot of them have that, but DX or EU or MT or any other indicator for directional calls shows right there ... how can you miss it if you are double-clicking on it?
doesn't your display show those?

not his, unless you let your call go longer than about 6 seconds.

it's hard to understand why it would not show, since it is part of the sent message.

I found the problem. I had an old version AND the latest installed. I did not realize that install of a new version does not remove the old one as almost all other Windows programs do. I simply went to Control Panel and removed the old version and now I get the screen with the complete message. I guess that is life in this lane. Asi es la vida para todos. 😊
I credit Jim Cooper here for saying What Version do you have. I had the newest as shown on the start but also had junk hanging around form an older version . I think 1.1.9 or something like that. The correct version was starting but it seems things left around form the old one was causing the error.

I thought I found it but no. Suddenly back as it was and the CQ is not shown in the left window. It does get colored green as configured but I do not see the decoded CQ or CQ DX.
What is the ~ for in the left window?
