Locked WSJT-X 2.1.2 with YAESU FT-818 nd #Cat_RigControl

I have WSJTX v. 2.1.2 loaded on Windows 10 64 bit. That does not work with Yaesu FT 818 ND with SCU-17 interface, normally connected with cables as indicated in the user manuals. The initial configuration starts regularly ... but does not transmit anything, ALC does not report modulation output. Instead the DM780 (HRD) and FLDIGI programs work regularly with the planned configuration. The same configuration on Yaesu FT-818 ND carried on Yaesu FT-817 ND works regularly. I have seen that the CAT commands of these two RTXs have slight differences between them. It is possible that these small differences between the two CAT commands do not modulate the signal at the output of my Yaesu FT-818nd. I hope I have represented the problem correctly.

Hi Giancarlo,

please follow these instructions for setting the correct Tx audio level with the 64-bit version of WSJT-X:

Re:  Bill Somerville's reply, message 4914, dated 12/12/19.  Bill provides instructions for setting the correct Tx audio level with the 64-bit version of WSJT-X in a link that connects to the now defunct groups.yahoo.com.  Are the instructions posted to the Yahoo wstjtgroup the same as Bill posted in message 5077, dated 12/29/19?
If not, does anyone have the Yahoo Group message, or would Bill please repost his information here?
I am attempting to use FT-818nd, SCU-17, and WSJT-X 2.2.2 and have similar problem as Giancarlo, but haven't tried FLDIGI or HRD.
