I deleted the files, rebuilt hamlib and wsjt-x. rigctld -V now reports hamlib 4.4 but I get these error when I do rigctld -v -m 2 -T 127.0.0.1 & rig_open: error = IO error network.c(301):network_open

You aren’t in the dialout group. Try sudo usermod -a -G dialout stinkyfeet and press enter. You will have to logout and log back in. Hopefully that will get you going. 73 Stan KM4HQE
