Mike, As far as I am aware, your note saying it worked should be enough. The email system is threaded so people following the thread will see that you’re now working. Regards Andy, G8TQH

Hi Michael, Did you follow the instruction in the read me file about copying sysctl.conf to your system? It sets up the shared memory segments. Without it you cannot create them. You can check that it

John, While that might sound like a good reason — I am running the “international” version of Windows 10: set for the UK, with a UK keyboard, UK date format etc. and version 2.2.0-rc1 (64 bit) is work

Windows update today killed my microphone input
And just to answer myself… I just added my login to the dialout group, logged out then back in and it’s all running OK and talking nicely to the radio too. Regards Andy, G8TQH

Windows update today killed my microphone input
Thanks again Harvey. Switched to straight Ubuntu, loaded the missing libraries (which worked just fine, unlike the same step on the Raspbian version), WSJT-X running just fine. Decoding just fine. Onl

Windows update today killed my microphone input
Thanks for that Harv. That failed for me with the OS I first tried (Raspbian for 386 — which I used for compatibility with my Pi’s). I have now downloaded a version of Ubuntu and will try again tomorr

Windows update today killed my microphone input
Thanks Al. Sadly, based upon suggestions in other groups, I already tried that and it failed. Although I didn’t reboot after making the change which might make a difference. Regards Andy, G8TQH

Windows update today killed my microphone input
That was my fix too. Rolled back 24 hours and everything was working again. Before that, I went through all the suggestions here about giving access to the microphone, switching to an alternate sound
