Not getting QSO possible timing issue
Ive found audio levels to sometimes be an issue, some guys are real HOT on audio, and it shows. Jut a FYI. Audio should never trigger your ALC, yet some do.

Soundcard Observations
Correct, there are none loaded on the drive. The HD has been replaced multiple times, growing larger each time. I do not load the audio software, since the first drive expansion which was a new build.

Soundcard Observations
Ive had soundcard problems here as well Julian, I dont know if they bear on your incidents. Whenever I updated WSJTX, I lost soundcard connectivity. It also happens randomly on a cold reboot as well.

JT-9 decoding
Yes that might be a good answer, a switch to turn off the broadband window, and just monitor where the "hash marks" are set to. It would be nice to keep the function for listening and reading the mail

Thanks for the input Bear. Will take note of those in addition. Ive worked 28 mhz fine with it. Remember, We had the same worries about Lentus that we found lacking. Ive had pretty good luck on 7 mhz

Have we decided on a 21 mhz freq yet? or do we just default to 21.078? Any guess for 12meters? 18 mhz? (Ive got one posting of 18.104) Having agreed-to freqs makes things a lot more ..er...agreeable.
