Strange CQ on 40M tonight
I was idly watching 40M FT8 tonight, as you do, and I spotted a station calling CQ on two frequencies, in the same band, at different time slots and I wondered why?

Sounds like RF getting into the PC. Not sure what type antenna that you are using, but some ‘multi band’ designs result in high RF levels in or close to the shack. Sometimes it’s a result of the lives

Theoretical maximum for one FT8 band channel?

On 6M the solution has been another "DX" frequency. So now there is 50.313MHz and 50.323MHz and, yes, the DX Police have been seen to be active on 323 as well... It's like 50.110MHz all over again. LO

I made up a seperate shortcut to launch WSJT-X in 'Dark' mode from the instructions I found at http://gm6nx.com/?p=1281 Now I can launch either syle of display that I fancy using. Hope it helps - Dave

I did a quick test toggling the "Sh" box and the "Tx6" box. I guess that "Sh" stands for 'Shorthand', as in the Shorthand messaging used in other modes? So, clicking on "Sh" changes Tx4 to "@1500(RRRR
