No...WSJT-X does nothing with time synchronization -- that's up to the OS.
I've got two utilities on my QRZ  page -- TimeFudge for Windows and timefudge.c for Unix/Linux.  Both of which allow small changes in your system clock.

I never checked that wsjtx was in the fedora repos :)
So I installed it from a downloaded rpm pack....it makes properly the difference

First could I not install wsjtx from the rpm package by dnf/rpm.
It refused due to the wrong boost pack.
Then I forced the installation with rpm.

When I started wsjtx it gave a error (wrong boost pack) and exit.
After a reboot it stopped complaining and started normal ...why I dont know.

I don’t know the power you intend to use, but I would think very carefully about mounting a transmitting antenna on a fuel tank, especially propane.

Hello fellow hams,

I am looking at changing antennas for my beacons. Right now my WWoT/TAPR 30m/40m beacon is running off a Cushcraft R7 and my Deadburd 20m (offline) was on my G5RV. I am looking at maybe attaching my beacons to hamsticks and since I am not listening so the noise floor isn't an issue. These would be mounted to several large steel objects (massive propane tanks) that would provide a sufficient ground plane.

Any concerns that I should be made aware of with this possible antenna setup? Thanks.

So if you want to try the latest DLL hopefully it behaves better.http://n0nb.users.sourceforge.net/

Anybody else who sees this type of behavior please speak up so I can look at which rigs may need more of a delay when PTT is turned off.

Should be good, always higher the better and as far away from your Main station as possible.

I have an old resurrected Hustler 6BTV vertical that I have on a hill on end of property. There are power lines a safe distance but too close for an RX type station antenna. Put two PI based WSPR units and an RF relay in a Rubbermaid storage unit and have been running 15 and 30m for a couple of months now on 100mw with good results.

Good luck,

Am I missing something here? When I delete files from my normal WSJT-X folder (like old ALL.TXT files) on my main hard drive they go into my Recycle Bin and can be restored. I just now tested it to be sure.

The original email (down below) doesn't mention any special case where this wouldn't be true.

If we have put our log on LOTW, I believe that it can be downloaded,
probably as an ADI file. The better logging software can import ADI
files. I know that DXKeeper has that capability, and I think I remember
a button to download from LOTW.
