That is then running at the underlying FFT resolution with one FFT per pixel row. To get a faster scroll we would have to either manufacture fake lines or make the FFT size smaller, which would lose resolution to the detriment of all others with bigger monitors. 73 Bill G4WJS. |

Rig Control Error
Istvan Nyul
Hi,
I am having an intermittent communication error when using WSJT-X with FT8. Setup is as follows: Ten Tec ORION Windows 8.1 Professional WSJT-X 2.0.0 Single point grounding with #6AWG twisted copper wire to 2 copper pipes hammered into the ground about 3 feet deep. This ground wire is also connected to the antenna tower’s grounding system.
The problem I am having is that during a QSO the transmission just ceases, the ‘Enable TX’ grayed out and the error message shown below pops up.
I tried different computers, but the result is the same. I noticed the following:
Your advice and help would be greatly appreciated; thanks in advance!

FWIW I have had the same issue also with strong sigs on both sides. Next time I’ll email the qso partner too see if he is receiving me during the issue.

Re: 2.1.0-rc5 crashing on launch on mac
I also meet the same problem.
The software can be opened normally, switching mode The FT4 signal can be decoded very well. But when I click on the callsign, wsjtx will crash. ``` Crashed Thread: 0 Dispatch queue: com.apple.main-thread

Well...it's not stuck in a loop...in all 3 cases it looks like the other side of your QSO wasn't seeing you. With a 4-minute watchdog it's going to run a long time before it times out. There does seem to be a of report of incomplete QSOs like this. So I'm wondering if this is a computer-performance issue of some sort or audio dropouts happening more with FT4 than FT8? de Mike W9MDB

Having said that your examples show strong signals, so perhaps QRM is also an issue, maybe another station transmitting on your frequency. 73 Bill G4WJS. |
