May I suggest that you post this to the wsjtgroup at yahoo groups (groups.yahoo.com) so that all the developers will see it for sure.

Good question! How do you tell if someone is doing fox hound?
I check the DXpedition sites to see if a note is there.

Good Morning OM:
"LID" is hamese for a poor operator. Definitely a derogatory term. tnx es 73 de K3SSB Tom G, Sr.

All I can think of is that the person was being rude and meant "keep a lid on it" or "shut up".

Dave,
He was not running in the DX mode at the time. He was on 7.074 MHz, exchanges with other stations were normal and current cluster spots were all standard mode. Richard AA5VU

After a few tries, I noticed someone (no call sign) used free text to send "AA5VU LID". I backed off not knowing what I did wrong? No joy on getting VK9TX Richard AA5VU WSTJ-X 2.0.0-rc2 under macOS 10.14 (Mojave)

Is there any way to get the WSJT-X log to reflect my logging program? With WSJT-X now able to log direct to HRD it would be nice to have WSJT-X anr HRD Log the same. Thanks for any help or advice. 73 -- Jim Quick / N4ULE n4ule@...

Hi Jim,

You need a virtual COM port (VCP) driver for the USB chip set in the FTDX3000. The manufacturer of the chip set is Silicon Labs (www.silabs.com). I found the following link: Yaesu USB Driver Update - MorseTutor.com Hopefully this helps getting you started. Eddy, W6EDY

WSJTX Alert Issue
#WSJTX_config
dvpoplewski
With the previous version of JT-Alert, when working a station (w6XXX). It would populate the operator name and location in the boxes at the bottom left. The current or latest version I down loaded will not ever populate those boxes even though I have DX Suites pathfinder running in the background.
Any ideas? David KC8IV

Short answer...yes Long answer...yes it is. Even longer answer....with WSJT-X you can just look at the dT values and adjust your clock to get < +/- 1 second times on the majority of decodes. You can use TimeFudge on my QRZ page to adjust the clock in small amounts. de Mike W9MDB
