Waterfall Spectra

Under settings>advanced>miscellaneous>waterfall spectra, the selections are "Low sidelobes" & "Most sensitive". I cannot find any words in the user guide regarding these settings ?

switching to ALSA audio is non-trivial, we use the Qt framework for cross platform capabilities and on most Linux distributions it is built to use

You may try tick a setting in File – Settings – General – Display ‘Start new period decodes at top’. It will keep decodes at place without strolling.
There is minor bug in that

I thought it might be something like that. It would be nice if there was the option in WSJTX to go in via pulseaudio rather than under alsa then it might use the description field rather

I am succesfully running RPi (v4 with 2GB) - and installed WSJT using apt-get. Version of WSJT-X is 2.0.0. My interface is a Signalink going to an FT-450D. There's an additional CAT cable/USB

copy and paste only the new entries in the adi log, into a fresh file, then import that file.
1 make sure you call it something different
2 make sure you remember where you saved it

the little arrows at the top and bottom of the pane are scroll buttons.
The massive number of entries in the list, under Linux, is due to two phenomena: HTH, 73, Stay

possibly a timing issue where you are clicking on the wanted call before the system has finished decode cycle #3. The list of calls decoded many times jumps up at the end and can cause your effect.

Thank you Bill and Dave, I'll try the suggested fixes/checks and report back, I think Bill you nailed it, timing, after my computer fried, literally, I haven't installed or set the clock

This has been an issue as many have mentioned. As was mentioned, turn off the Windows screen saver as that somehow seems to kill the TX audio for sure, I do still get the occasional TX audio not

I share your pain, the problem I have is that the list you show above is not scrollable and so some entries appear below the screen edge and are not selectable without guesswork.

Thanks for the clarification Bill, I didn't realize this. Perhaps I read it in the manual years ago and forgot, no idea.
I no longer have my FT-DX3000. When I did, it was correctly set to "Fake it"

the HRD/split issue has been reported here several times. The HRD team was asked several times to improve the driver but no success.
Finally I gave up to use HRD with split.

Couldn't be also a timing error caused by hamlib (when set to use "Ham Radio Deluxe" which means sending commands via network rather then on Cm port) ?

There is external software that interfaces with WSJT-X that does this and more.
Gridtracker and JTAlert.
Have a look at them.
