GA Karl, I had a similar problem. IIRC, I went into Raspbian "Preferences" from Main Menu and set "LOCALE" to USA. Then it worked for me. I presume there is a LOCALE for Austria. Take a look...this

It's not the Prolific chips themselves, it is that the market has been flooded with counterfeit chips that do not work very well.

I have successfully inserted my new ADI file in the Log Directory. I hav followed the instructions in the logging section of the user guide with no success. All stations show up in the Band Activity
