Right! In general, the cluster does not want FT8 spots unless they are rare DX. PSKReporter is where WSJT mode spots belong.

People are interested in QRZ and locally logging because there is so much more going on with a log than just awards. Logging for awards is a side effect. Not to mention that LoTW and eQSL are

N1JSM - suggest that unverified emails not be allowed to register in this group. as licensed HAMs we are all in the FCC database and have nothing to hide.

still using v1 as I find it more intuitive to operate. And I don't want
automatic uploads as I check all entries

Isn't that why pskreporter and hamspots are there. They can be set in
wsjt or jtalert. Isn't that enough

Have you downloaded the latest of LOG4OM? Version 2.19.0 is available and does what you want i believe. A learning curve is involved.
I don't remember V1 as i upgraded a couple years ago

It doesn't require concurrent access. The ADIF logfile is only accessed when logging a QSO so there would be no conflict if you are clicking a mouse.

Did you look at " QRZ.com " by any chance?
There is a lot on information on the DETAIL tab for a given callsign, including a map locating the reported transmitter site.
