Moving FT8/FT4/Q65 to 144.460 MHz sounds a great idea. The default FT8 frequency of 144.174 MHz is blocked in 4X/4Z by strong interference on 144.175 MHz.

Q65B-60 for 2m usually.
Unfortunately, JA band plan (set by law) allows us to QRV between 144.400 and 144.500 for digital.
Talk to you on vkspotter for further discussion.
Tnx.

Yes, but using CAT PTT for timing (but that is irrelevant here). Don't clip the initial tones that way, as would be the case with the Signallink VOX PTT . . .
Other than that, thanks for confirming

The SignaLink provides it's own VOX PTT.
Yaesu rigs do not have CAT commands for rear-connector PTT control so that's why that option is disabled.
I saw one other post where somebody had to do a

If you want to see FT4, come back on ARRL Field Day. In 2020 I made about 320 FT4 contacts (no dups), and I was a single operator taking naps and breaks.

Indeed they do. On 80M FT4 in the evening there's a lot more FT8 traffic at the low end of the waterfall than there is overall FT4 traffic.

I never noticed that 80M FT4 was only 2kHz above FT8. If FT8 ever gets booming and fill up the waterfall might be some collisions in the 2-3kHz range.
