No problem. I had to test that first in wsjt-x to remember, whether also configuration is presented on the information line, hi! Only after your mail I checked the manual.

Older Icom rigs can only change VFOB by either setting VFOB as active, set freq (or mode), then set back to VFOA.Another way is to swap VFOs, change VFOA, and swap back.Either way is ugly and Fake
