I know this can be a deeper subject and not exactly about WSJT-X but the various studies done seem to suggest that you use a 43 mix for HF baluns and 31 mix for HF chokes. See Balun Design's Web

The F250 is the SIZE of the Torroid.  The -31 is the mix. -31 is best for HF -43 is best for VHF can actually get them thru Amazon (probably easiest) Gwen KI5PXQ

Hi, Signalink works with its own usb cable. Try to disconnect cat and work only with Signalink (vox ptt). If problem insist compare the settings of your 991 with another working with wsjt-x already

Fox/Hound mode is FT8. There is no way to differentiate between F/H and normal mode simply by examining the decoded data. Any differences are even less clear when including the "multi-channel mode"
