OK y'all, now I'm dangerous! I finally got my computer and my radio sorta
talking to each other -- meaning I can get on FT8 with WSJTX and REALLY
show my ignorance! LOL!

Hi James here (KG5PTE) I am running WSJT-X FT-8 on 30 meters (10 MHZ) with an Icom 7300 and Dell G-3 Windows 11 laptop. Has anyone had any luck making contacts on 30 meters ?

I would have thought it's a better fit to FLDIGI which already has CW and Hell modems.

If you see ops calling CQ POTA, call them. They want your contact and will surely work you if they can hear you.

I've done this twice on my 2017 iMac (Intel) and I get the same issue
reoccurring. I used CleanMyMacX to uninstall WSJTX and another app to make
sure I deleted all of the possible remaining files.

On my Mac Studio it runs fine but the ALC is way high now and not adjustable via the Power Control. When I exit, I have to force quit. I'm going to take KD2TJU's suggestion, remove and rebuild.

James, are all those 10,000 contacts all on 10 Meters? As your rig is a 10 Meter only rig, I suspect that might be the case. If thats correct then others might be ignoring you as they have already

It is indeed great, although there were at least 60 stations calling HV0A yesterday and presumably none knew whether they were in the queue or not.
