It was known (and acknowledged) from the beginning that .080 was RTTY segment and would be wiped out during RTTY contest weekends.

Hello, Bill,
Thank you for your post. I suggest 14080 for FT4, many stations appear to use it. I listen on the advised FT4 frequency and hear very little. You are certainly not too old for this group!

I guess I am too old for this group. 14075 for as long as I have been a ham was the calling frequency for RTTY. But every CW contest had the CW contesters all the way up to and over 14100. Those with

After a clean install and reboot, it ran for 45 min or so.

After the one upgrade it set my custom power setting to shut down instead of just screen save. One of my USB ports reverted to going to sleep as well. So recheck all the USB and power settings.

Done, and running without errors so far.
One anomaly: When I pin the program to the taskbar , or copy a link out on to the desktop, the icon is a white square, not the nice looking WSJT-X Icon.

I can't think of any obvious reason why having installed a diagnostic version should now effect running the stock version of WSJT-X. All I can suggest is to do a clean

I have had two experiences with power fluctuations (ICOM 7610). One was transmitting on the edge of the transmit audio filter. I fixed that by selecting split. This moved my transmit to the center

RTTY have regularly used 14.808-14.125 for contests for the last
30 years ... sometimes even below 14.080.
14.080 "listening up" has been standard for RTTY DXpeditions for nearly
as long.
