Joe, one other question. How much disk space do you have? Reason I ask is when Windows gets to where it has less than 10% available weird things start to happen.

For the WF to look correct in the vertical ( and for WSJT-X to work correctly ) the A-D converter ( sound card device ) must be at set to 48kbps ( 16 bits ) , the data must be presented

If your IF filter bandwidth in your radio is set too narrow, you will get the same problems. You should set your rx IF bandwidth as wide as your radio permits on SSB (4 kHz if possible). Then adjust

First of all, once you set your tx level, it should not change by mode.
In File > Settings > Audio : at the bottom there are two boxes:
Band and Tune. If you want the program to remember your audio

Lance -- WSJT-X works with 48kHz 16-bit. Check the audio interface you're using to make sure that is what is set. Something might have changed it.

The waterfall looks like your audio sampling rate goes wild or fussy. I could happen in A/D converter in the rig of in Windows for some reason. Clicking the audio tab re-starts the USB

The program is obviously set up incorrectly. Once your levels are set, they should never need to be changed again unless you change equipment. Power output is controlled by a setting on the radio,

I Did that once in the wee hours of the morning & half asleep...
Mode on bottom line (below the wsjt-x clock) should be blue & say FT8!

On FT8, it is like something suddenly changed the Wide Graph setting from N AVG 6
(where I usually run it, so I can see the weakest signals) to N AVG 1. All the lines
between sequences are all jammed
