Re: append tetx to standard cq message
I'll take a look at that.
I should have some time... we had a wicked thunderstorm last night and lightning took out my Cat port.
Thanks for the info.

These radios will NEVER work with WSJT-X -- they are FM radios! Virtually digital modes (other than digital voice modes designed for VHF/UHF) require an SSB tranceiver.

I forget to mention..... when you insert the signalink USB into your computer it will automatically install the drivers. Check under your Device Settings/COM ports (you might want to check

I’m in the same boat with a Kenwood D-74 and FLDigi. I have a signalink on order. A brief review of their manual indicates that you should choose VOX. For the D-74 the jumper board I ordered

Re: Meteor Scatter
Have a 5-el at 85’ fed with 7/8” hardline and a 5-el side mounted at 45’ fed with ½” hardline. On 4/14-4/16 there was a slight edge on the higher antenna to the south.

Tnx. OK, I set-up 2M in the Settings > Configuration file. But, I do not have my radio in the "Rig" list. I have a 2M TM-255A radio. Any suggestions on what radio name to use. This is an old 2M

Check the "mode" on the radio...
If it is set to CW or FM, for example, it won't let you tx digital like ft8 or wspr.

Feature Request
Would it be possible to change color for mode indicator for FT4 so it would not be the same as FT8? This would provide a quick visual of the selected mode.

the "Settings->Radio->Transmit audio source" controls are only made available for rig models where CAT commands determine where Tx audio is taken from. For rigs like your Icom the transmit

In my WSJT “radio” tab settings the “Transmit Audio Source” is grayed out and the setting is stuck on “Front/Mic.” It doesn’t allow me to switch it to “Rear/Data”. Does anyone have

When I selected 18.110 it changed for a few seconds and then
Dave,
Something like his has happened to me. It seemed to be a USB CAT fault, when I removed and replaced the USB it worked normally.

Re: Strange behaviour.
Hi David,
something similar will happen if you insert a frequency into "Settings->Frequencies->Working Frequencies" that is not available on your rig, e.g. you may have put a frequency in using units

Strange behaviour.
I have just had this strange behaviour. But I have cured it after a restart (no effect) and a computer re-boot and second restart,
