As has already been suggested, if you use PulseAudio and the associated volume control utility you will be able to see and control every audio stream easily.

does anyone have their settings for CAT of the ftdx3000 on OSX Mojave (or late OS)

Yes. If I use Windows Explorer and go to ProgramData/Hamapps/sound I can play the various .wav files just fine

BTW:Your symbol looks like the silhouette of an F-18, is it? My first engineering job was at McDonnell Douglas in St Louis testing radios for all four aircraft we built. I dearly loved that job!

Thanks again for your time and patience. I increased the USB MOD LEVEL to 50% and it worked. I made a QSO with Arkansas just now on 10 watts with FT8.

Yes, 900 Hz is too far. The red and green brackets are too far apart, so your TX did not stop automatically. In the second case you were right on top of him so your TX stopped by itself without

It's always in the last place you look! Someone else had success with USB Mod Level way down at 20%. I increased it to 50% and la voila !

If your red TX bracket is touching the green Receive bracket, then WSJT will auto disconnect when the other station call someone else. Otherwise you need to Halt the QSO just like you did. 73, Herb

A GPS receiver is not dependent upon an Internet connection. That's it's real value. I live in a rural area. My Internet connection is wireless and flaky at times. Windows services can go haywire

Oh, there it is...
I think... your issue is that you have the digital output selected, not the analog output on transmit...
That pt2910? (hard to read, fuzzy) is for an (fiber) optical digital output
