Re: append tetx to standard cq message
Hi Rick,
that information is added at the receiving end when "Settngs->General->Show DXCC, grid, and worked before status" is checked. It is derived from the callsign of the sender of the CQ message

append tetx to standard cq message
In the standard cq message I have:
CQ KK4GGL EL99
I notice that many hams have text after the locator, such as CQ Zone 31 or AF. How can I add the same type of text?
Thanks.

Re: another FT8 / FT4 log question
Hi Bob,
it's your choice, the checkbox "Settings->Colours->Highlight by Mode" determines which. You can change it any time you wish.

another FT8 / FT4 log question
Is the WSJT log able to separate worked grids between the 2 modes even
though one log contains info for both modes? e.g. If I have worked CM87
on FT8, will it show up as a needed grid on FT4

Re: FT4 logging mode different that FT8 mode
Bob,
No it's the way the ADIF forum decided to categorise FT4. They would have done the same with FT8 if they had time.
All applications should recognise them as modes FT4 and FT8 or at least show

Thanks. The delay setting at minimum resolved the issue. Thought the software was overriding the signaling. Obviously not.

Perhaps, it depends on the radio. I find it difficult to adjust the RF output of my Ten-Tec Pegasus using the Pwr slider
