Thanks Bill,
But the problem isn't setting power level, the problem is running WSJT causes both the S/W and the rig to hang. To recover, I have to restart the S/W and do a factory reset on the rig.

Here is how to indicate a "Worked Before" Station. This will only
show up concerning a Station worked before when they call CQ.

Ah, yes. Standby. They've attached the wrong way round, but it's fairly obvious which is which. I've thrown in a snap of the antenna for good measure.

Don't see any pictures, but there should be a good common mode choke on the coax where it connects to the antenna so that the coax does not become part of the antenna, putting more RF in the

Bluetooth is a lossy encode/decode process -- the encode cycle throws away part of the audio based on studies of what the ear won't miss on speech

Enter in a six digit identifier in WSJTX. I believe it may be trying to derive from IP (just guessing) and you are closer to dt than ds. For example I am EL98pg and another identifier on other sites.

I still get quirks occasionally but it does not involve resetting the radio.

You don't mention your OS, but there is a known issue with OS X on Macs where you need to use an aggregate sound device rather than the native USB sound device or it locks up the radio and the
