Brent,
Directly?
That seems to say you are not using it in conjunction with a SDR program to process the IQ signals.

Hi Jay,
You need to copy your previous contacts from the prior installation in Windows PC to the current one. The needed file is wsjtx_log.adi and the file location is defined in the User Guide

Bob,
This is in addition to the setup message I sent you for the K3. Line Out and Line In are on the rear of the K3. Line Out is the audio that goes to your microphone connection on your sound card,

Bob,
Unless you have upgraded the K3 with the KIO3B you will still have to use the line in/out in addition to the RS232 for CAT control.

Yes, there is an RS232 between the P3 and the K3 and an available (second) RA232 port on the P3 for computer control. From reading the manual it “seems” like it will work but I wanted to

Bob,
I use a USB to serial cable to go between my computer and the K3 RS-232 port. In WSJTX you need to
put in the info required for the K3. I don’t have a P3, but isn’t it connected to the K3 via

Enable TX controls what happens the next sequence. It is not immediate. To halt it immediately, hit Halt TX, or just hit Escape.

I would think that if you can do that with other software, such as the K3 Utility, it would work with WSJT-X, since the K3 Utility also provides some command functions.
