if you have no CAT connection then you must select "Settings->Radio->Rig->None". For PTT I expect your interface uses one of the RS-232 signals RTS or DTR to key your rig, to use that you need

Then how can "Test CAT" be expected to work?
PTT may use VOX or a COM port signal.
If you want to use CAT then it needs to be setup correctly.

Linux and WSJTX on FT-920 cannot control rig

I had a recent Windows 7 failure. I was able to save my data, but had to scrap Windows 7 and installed Linux Mint. I was able to install WSJT-X, but I am not able to gain rig control to my Yaesu

Thanks Rip, the Transmit Audio Source is gray out so I'm not able to change that. I'll play around with the settings and see if anything allows me to change that.

I've quit using 50275 because there are actually OPs that use JT65 in this world. I first found Q65 when I was monitoring 50276 JT65 as VK/ZL use it to work South America during their summer E season.

The rig is connected using a xggcomms sound card that connects from the 6 pin data plug and then plugs into the pi with a USB and two 3.5mm audio jacks.
