Re: 30 meters?
Problem IS, 160 is NOT an option for many of us inurban environs.
I for example could hear you guys last night on 160 by ear, but thepulsating line noise (insulator arc-over) made decoding

Re: 30 meters?
I hear you..... But I guess my real point is that this particular mode was and is being designed with high noise as its reason for living..... Which is not a bad reason for living on 160 and 80, too

160 meters is not an option him. If he wants to get a group going on some other band, that's their business.--

Re: 30 meters?
Seems there has been an expression of interest on 80 meters 3.581.- 40 meters 7.074 and -30 meters 10.130
Even urban Auckland 80meters for me is s9 and 160 just no way.
But 30 has been fun I have

As an aside, I worked with Lentus last winter. Lentusrequires a close time sync, and many thought it would limit itself tothe lower freqs, but in experimentation, we were able to use it up toand thru

I can concur with all that Mike, but job #1 is to get asignal, see what it looks like and commence a contact, even IF its notunder conditions the mode may very well be able to support.

Re: 30 meters?
I have noticed I had to turn my interface audio up a bit compared to jt65hf signals to get a decode.
I could also hear a signal but nothing on the waterfall.

Re: 30 meters?
Steve, that is true..... If you aren't getting it to decode under good conditions, then it isn't ready for prime time testing on the band(s) it was really intended for. Good point! Maybe we can try

Re: jt9-5
Hi,
I just tried JT9-5, and have the same problem as you describe. I'm just running a simple Donner interface, and XP.
