Yes it does. There are three RX filter settings which are separately defined between USB and USB-D. Also the filter used is saved separately between modes. You can also vary the filter edges

Does the IC 7300 have separate filter settings for data modes? If so, perhaps the data mode filters are set too narrow.

One other note I could add is hook your rig power line directly to the power supply and DO NOT use a Rig Runner or other power distribution bar. You can get a lot of voltage drop with one of those.
