Re: WSJTX.Log and WSJTX_Log.adi help
If you use Ham Radio Deluxe or N2FJP loggers, you can set WSJT-X to simultaneously log into those programs which gives you a real-time readable log. You can then send your adi file to LOTW.

You can read the file. It should open with a text editor. Right click the file and select “open with” and select a test editor on your computer. That is generally notepad on a windows computer.

Re: WSJT-X is not decoding but shows signals on waterfall
I've had the same problem.
Seems like the last time it happened, I tried lowering the RF Gain and it started decoding every sequence.
I wasn't getting high readings on the level meter at the time

Hi Buddy,
I have a similar problem. When I start WSJT-X it will only decode half of the cycles. After about 20 minutes it settles down and decodes all. Then, when I try to answer a CQ, it will stop

Thanks to those of you who replied.
I have investigated this option in HDSDR and using this you can solve the problem in a somewhat bizarre way.
As you probably know when you swop the Rx I/Q

Barry,
Perhaps you should study what JTAlert can already now provide to you.
Audio and visual alerts for several alert conditions

Added Feature?
It would seem possible to add a feature to FT8 that would allow users to list a particular call they were looking for (such as a DXpedition) and have an alert sent when that call appeared in the FT8
