Hey Walter,
Thanks but that is what I have done and they are still being saved. At least there is apparently a limit of 2611 files because the oldest is erased before the new one is

Hey Paul,
Try clicking on the SAVE then select NONE.
See if that takes care of it for you, as it does for me.
Take care,

Re: WSJT-X is not decoding but shows signals on waterfall
Yesterday I opened WSJT-X and had the same problem with no FT8 decodes. I checked my computer clock and it was a full 4 seconds ahead!
After synchronization, everything is back to normal. I wonder if

How do I turn them off?
I have gone to the SAVE menu and have NONE checked but the wav files continue to pile up in the save directory.
Thanks

Re: Intermittent Decode
I also use Windows Defender on the computer running wsjt-x. I set it not to scan wsjt-x's audio directory.
Set your wsjt-x to save audio files. Then after awhile, like 5 minutes, you can play back

Open the frequency window and right click where the freqs are missing. A popup will appear. Click Reset. 73, Herb WB8ASI

Please leave the Tabs as they are. FT4 is not the only WSJT-X mode that shares this GUI.
Kind regards,

Hope I'm not in the wrong place to ask this: Is there an easy way to reset or create the adif log file?

Re: CANT ADJUST SIZE OF WSJT-X WINDOW
Yes tried changing resolution several times - nothing works .. ALL other programs act normally including WSJT 10.0 and the waterfalls; WSJT-X 2.1.2 will not adjust smaller than 90% of my screen

Re: FT4 contest logging
I find that both are useful depending on the mode being used.
Butch N5SMQ
IMHO Tab 2 should just be eliminated. Perhaps some other functionality could be placed there.
