Just type it into Tx6. If the it already filled with CQ GM3ZZA IO85 then just add e.g. EU there to get
CQ EU GM3ZZA IO85. It is sticky.

I found the trouble. In the C:\wsjt\wsjtx folder tree, there were some old files that I'd had left over from a disk crash recovery. Apparently something in WSJT-X was using an obsolete version
