Seems there has been an expression of interest on 80 meters 3.581.- 40 meters 7.074 and -30 meters 10.130
Even urban Auckland 80meters for me is s9 and 160 just no way.
But 30 has been fun I have

I hear you..... But I guess my real point is that this particular mode was and is being designed with high noise as its reason for living..... Which is not a bad reason for living on 160 and 80, too

there is not hard rule about what frequency band you want to run jt9 on . if you are interested in a schedule on 30 meters, please let me know.

Problem IS, 160 is NOT an option for many of us inurban environs.
I for example could hear you guys last night on 160 by ear, but thepulsating line noise (insulator arc-over) made decoding

Guys, please remember tho that the high noise environment is the reason for these modes. If you are in a low noise environment, you would be better served with a faster digital mode that can take

Also very important that you have NO ALC active, and no audio enhancements - audio flat.
You won't need much power, 10w should be plenty.

For 30m 10.130 has been a common freq, and most TX is done in JT9-1
On 20m 14.078 is being used.

30 meters?
160 is terribly noisy for me here, Im in the city andthe only time its usable is mid winter.
is anyone doing JT9 on 30 meters? If so what freq, Id like to trytonight to see someone. Im assuming it
