I am trying to setup the correct serial port for my IC-7100. I keep receiving
the attached error message after using each of the Serial Port Options

I don't know much about 144MHz EME operating frequencies. While .120 may
be the default, it may or may not be be in use at any particular time.

Yes I thought the same thing about the time. I have Diemsion4 as my time since. But if I switch to like FT8 or WSPR on the same computer and radio the times are correct.

If you had just selected "Default" for all the serial information it would have worked out of the box.
The TS-440 does not have hardware flow control.
We put in the the "Default" selections a few

After a few nasty go-rounds, I was able to finally get WSJT-X to control my Kenwood TS-440s. I wanted to pass along the parameters I found to work. As always, YMMV. NOTE: I'm using Windows 10.

To prove JT9.EXE can be made to work, at G3WDG's suggestion I tried it with a Q65A file generated by Q65sim, and it decoded perfectly.
When I mistyped the file path/name it gave a similar looking

I am doing it without any problem.
Open N3JFP ACL go to SETINGS Drop down to APPLICATION PROGRAMMING INTERFACE (API). The API window will open. In the middle of the screen will be WSJT-X INTERFACE.

I use N3FJP with WSJT-X and it works fine.
N3FJP communicates using an API. Have a look at the settings menu (2nd item from the bottom). Check the "listen for WSJT-X" box. While on that menu item,
